Dig out of debt

Place your credit cards in a bowl of water and freeze them into a block for 30 days. For extra assurance, lock your statements in a drawer, so you cant get at your visa number. Think of it as cryogenics for your credit, it sounds kooky, but it’s a practical way to stop runaway charging. When you need to buy a plane ticket in a pinch, you cant simply defrost. And while your card is chilling, you will automatically progress to the second stage of debt recovery, figuring out what is behind your money habits. A simple rule to follow is spending often about fulfilling other people’s expectations. But when it comes to money, the only person you need to impress is your banker.
