Workouts

Exercise is supposed to help you sleep better, but ever since you started running after work, you struggle to fall asleep. Why is this so? It is not what you are doing so much as when you are doing it. If you switch to an AM exercise schedule, you will probably nod off faster. That's what just happened to one group of women over the course of a year during which the researchers had them walk, cycle or stretch for an hour every morning. A second group of people who exercises every day at 6pm reported that dozing off became harder. If you cant squeeze exercise into your morning routine, atleast keep your evening workout short. In the study exercising for 25 minutes or less after 6pm did not make it harder to fall asleep.
